SUMMARY |

This enactment amends the Canadian Environmental Protection Act
to prohibit the manufacture, importation, sale and offering for sale and,
in certain circumstances, the possession, of lead sinkers and lead jigs.
|
|
|
|
The enactment also provides for conditional amendments in the
event that Bill C-32, introduced during the thirty-sixth session of
Parliament and entitled the Canadian Environmental Protection Act,
1998, is assented to.
