Textile Labelling Act |

52. Section 2 of the Textile Labelling Act
is amended by adding the following in
alphabetical order:

| ``Commission
er'' « commis- saire »
|
``Commissioner'' means the Commissioner of
Competition appointed under the
Competition Act;
|
|

``Minister''
|
53. The Act is amended by replacing the
word ``Minister'' with the word
``Commissioner'' in the following
provisions:

|
|
|
|

``Director''
|
54. Every reference to the Director of
Investigation and Research or a Deputy
Director of Investigation and Research in
any other Act of Parliament or in a
regulation, order or other instrument made
under any Act of Parliament is deemed to
be a reference to the Commissioner of
Competition or a Deputy Commissioner of
Competition, as the case may be.

COMING INTO FORCE |

55. (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act
or any of its provisions comes into force on
a day or days to be fixed by order of the
Governor in Council.

(2) Sections 12, 14 to 17.1, 19, 22, 39, 41,
42 and 43 come into force on a day to be
fixed by order of the Governor in Council.
