24. Section 6 of the Criminal Records Act
is amended by adding the following after
subsection (3):
|
|
| Information in
national DNA
data bank
|
(4) For greater certainty, a judicial record of
a conviction includes any information in
relation to the conviction that is contained in
the convicted offenders index of the national
DNA data bank established under the DNA
Identification Act.

25. If Bill C-25, introduced in the second
session of the thirty-fifth Parliament and
entitled An Act respecting regulations and
other documents, including the review,
registration, publication and parliamentary
scrutiny of regulations and other documents,
and to make consequential and related
amendments to other Acts, is assented to,
then, on the later of the day on which section
27 of that Act comes into force and the day
on which this Act comes into force,
subsection 487.092(2) of the Criminal Code,
as enacted by section 23 of this Act, is
replaced by the following:

| Forms not
regulations
|
(2) For greater certainty, a form prescribed
under subsection (1) is deemed not to be a
regulation for the purposes of the Regulations
Act.
