CONDITIONAL AMENDMENTS |

Bill C-25
|
90. If Bill C-25, introduced in the second
session of the thirty-fifth Parliament and
entitled An Act respecting regulations and
other documents, including the review,
registration, publication and parliamentary
scrutiny of regulations and other documents,
and to make consequential and related
amendments to other Acts, is assented to,
then,

Reference to
scrutiny
committee
|
(3) Any fee fixed under section 24 or 25
stands permanently referred to the committee
referred to in subsection 25(1) of the
Regulations Act to be scrutinized as if it were
a regulation.
|
|
|
|
|
Notification
of order
|
(3) For greater certainty, a recall order is not
a regulation for the purposes of the
Regulations Act, but no person shall be
convicted of an offence under subsection (2)
unless the person was notified of the order.

91. On the later of the coming into force
of section 81 of the Controlled Drugs and
Substances Act, chapter 19 of the Statutes of
Canada, 1996, and the coming into force of
section 65 of this Act, the portion of section
31 of the Food and Drugs Act before
paragraph (a) is replaced by the following:

31. Subject to section 31.1, every person
who contravenes any of the provisions of this
Act or of the regulations made under this Part
is guilty of an offence and liable

|
92. The Hay and Straw Inspection Act is
repealed.

COMING INTO FORCE |
|
Coming into
force
|
93. This Act, or any provision of this Act,
or any provision of any Act enacted or
amended by this Act, comes into force on a
day or days to be fixed by order of the
Governor in Council.
