38. The Criminal Records Act is amended
by adding the following after section 4:

4.01 The period during which a person is
being supervised pursuant to an order for
long-term supervision, within the meaning of
subsection 2(1) of the Corrections and
Conditional Release Act is not included in the
calculation of the period referred to in section
4 that must have elapsed after the expiration of
sentence before an application for a pardon is
considered.

``prisoner'' in subsection 2(1) of the Prisons
and Reformatories Act after paragraph (b)
is replaced by the following:
