1. The portion after paragraph (b) of the
definition ``Convention refugee'' in section
2 of the Immigration Act is replaced by the
following:
|
|
|
but does not include any person to whom the
Convention does not apply pursuant to section
E or F of Article 1 thereof, which sections are
set out in Schedule I to this Act;
|
|
|
2. The Act is amended by adding the
following after section 119:
|
|
|

|
Reimburse- ment by the Minister
|
119.1 (1) On application to the Minister in
writing, the Minister shall reimburse the fee
paid for the right-of-landing where
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Definition of
``census
metropolitan
area''
|
(2) For the purposes of subsection (1),
``census metropolitan area'' means any area
designated as such by Statistics Canada and
appearing in Schedule II.
|
|
Amending
Schedule II
|
(3) The Governor in Council may, by order,
add a census metropolitan area to the list in
Schedule II or remove a census metropolitan
area from the list.
|
|
|
3. The schedule to the Act is renumbered
as Schedule I and the Act is amended by
adding the following:
|
