Yukon Surface Rights Board Act

115. Subsection 41(3) of the Yukon Sur face Rights Board Act is replaced by the following:

Exemption from regulatory process

(3) The rules of the Board are exempt from the application of the regulatory process under the Regulations Act.

1992, c. 40

Yukon Waters Act

116. Subsection 13(4) of the Yukon Waters Act is replaced by the following:

Policy direction not a regulation

(4) A policy direction is not a regulation for the purposes of the Regulations Act.

CONDITIONAL AMENDMENTS

Bill C-3

117. If Bill C-3, introduced during the second session of the thirty-fifth Parliament and entitled An Act to amend the Canada Labour Code (nuclear undertakings) and to make a related amendment to another Act, is assented to, then, on the later of the day on which section 27 of this Act comes into force and the day on which that Act is assented to, section 121.3 of the Canada Labour Code is replaced by the following:

Exemption from regulatory process

121.3 A regulation made pursuant to sec tion 121.1 or 121.2 is exempt from the application of the regulatory process under the Regulations Act.

Bill C-11

118. If Bill C-11, introduced in the second session of the thirty-fifth Parliament and entitled An Act to establish the Department of Human Resources Development and to amend and repeal certain related Acts, is assented to, then, on the later of the coming into force of section 25 of this Act and section 11 of that Act, subsection 11(3) of that Act is replaced by the following:

Reference to scrutiny committee

(3) A fee fixed under any of sections 8 to 10 stands permanently referred to a committee described in section 25 of the Regulations Act to be scrutinized as if it were a regulation.

COMING INTO FORCE

Coming into force

119. This Act or any of its provisions comes into force on a day or days to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council.
