266. (1) The Governor in Council may by
regulation exclude, in whole or in part, from
the application of any of the provisions of this
Part any employment, or any class or classes
of employment, on or in connection with a
work or undertaking set out in the regulation
whose activities are regulated, in whole or in
part, pursuant to the Nuclear Safety and
Control Act.

corporations

8.1 The Governor in Council may by
regulation direct that this Act applies in
respect of any employment, or any class or
classes of employment, on or in connection
with a work or undertaking set out in the
regulation that is, or is part of, a corporation
that is an agent of Her Majesty in right of a
province and whose activities are regulated, in
whole or in part, pursuant to the Nuclear
Safety and Control Act.

8.2 (1) The Governor in Council may by
regulation exclude, in whole or in part, from
the application of any or all of the provisions
of this Act any employment, or any class or
classes of employment, on or in connection
with a work or undertaking set out in the
regulation whose activities are regulated, in
whole or in part, pursuant to the Nuclear
Safety and Control Act.

(2) If Bill C-3, introduced in the second
session of the thirty-fifth Parliament and
entitled An Act to amend the Canada Labour
Code (nuclear undertakings) and to make a
related amendment to another Act, is
assented to, and that Act comes into force
before this Act, then section 106 of this Act
is repealed.

Bill respecting
regulations
|
126. If a bill entitled An Act respecting
regulations and other documents, including
the review, registration, publication and
parliamentary scrutiny of regulations and
other documents, and to make consequential
and related amendments to other Acts is
introduced in the second session of the
thirty-fifth Parliament and assented to,
then, on the later of the day on which section
1 of that Act comes into force and the day on
which this Act comes into force, section 69
of this Act is replaced by the following:

Non- application of Regulations Act
|
69. A decision or order made under this Act,
other than an order made under section 19, is
not a regulation for the purposes of the
Regulations Act.

127. This Act comes into force on a day to
be fixed by order of the Governor in
Council.
