SUMMARY |

The purpose of this enactment is to amend the Canadian
Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Act to provide
for representation of Canadian consumers on the Commission, to
require reports of Commission decisions to detail the way each
Commission member voted in respect of those decisions and to ensure
that the Commission generally has regard to cost-effectiveness and the
rights of Canadian consumers.
