SUMMARY |

This enactment establishes a program of government-sponsored
indemnification for international exhibitions, and for domestic
exhibitions that are shown in at least two provinces, provided that the
exhibition is either organized or hosted by a Canadian museum, art
gallery, archives or library. The enactment empowers the Government
of Canada to assume the financial risk, and provide compensation, for
damage to or loss of an item that is part of the exhibition.
