SUMMARY |

This bill increases the minimum term of imprisonment for a
conviction for using a firearm in the commission of an offence to five
years. It also applies the same penalty to one who has possession or
immediate access to a firearm and to an accomplice of such a person.
|
|
|
|
It also provides that the sentence must be served consecutively to
any other imprisonment for an offence under the Criminal Code.
