SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie la Loi sur l’Agence du revenu du Canada afin d’autoriser l’Agence du revenu du Canada à conclure une entente avec une province ou un territoire relativement à la collecte et à la communication des renseignements dont a besoin la province ou le territoire pour la création ou la tenue d’un registre de donneurs d’organes.
SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Canada Revenue Agency Act to authorize the Canada Revenue Agency to enter into an agreement with a province or a territory regarding the collection and disclosure of information required for establishing or maintaining an organ donor registry in the province or territory.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1 La Loi sur l’Agence du revenu du Canada est modifiée par adjonction, après l’article 63, de ce qui suit :
1 The Canada Revenue Agency Act is amended by adding the following after section 63:
Ententes — donneurs d’organes
Agreements — organ donors
63.1 (1) L’Agence peut conclure une entente avec le gouvernement d’une province ou d’un territoire pour la collecte, au moyen des déclarations de revenu présentées en application de l’alinéa 150(1)d) de la Loi de l’impôt sur le revenu, des renseignements dont a besoin la province ou le territoire pour la création ou la tenue d’un registre des donneurs d’organes.
End of inserted block63.1 (1) The Agency may enter into an agreement with a provincial or territorial government to collect — using the returns of income filed under paragraph 150(1)(d) of the Income Tax Act — any information that the province or territory requires for the purpose of establishing or maintaining an organ donor registry in the province or territory.

Disclosure
(2) L’Agence peut, si elle y a été autorisée par le particulier dans sa dernière déclaration de revenu, communiquer à la province ou au territoire de résidence du particulier les renseignements recueillis conformément à l’entente.
End of inserted block(2) The Agency may disclose to the province or territory in which an individual resides the information collected in accordance with the agreement if, in their last return of income, that individual authorized the Agency to provide the information to that province or territory.
