SUMMARY |

The purpose of this enactment is to remove, as from January 1, 2001,
the requirement that employers and all others making payments to a
taxpayer that are subject to taxation, must withhold from the payment
an amount estimated as the taxpayer's tax obligation and remit it to the
government.
