End of stage activity
Referral to committee, Thursday, October 10, 2024
On October 10, the bill was not before the Senate at second reading. During consideration of the committee report on the bill, a point of order was raised concerning the receivability of the amendments in the report. The Speaker ruled that the amendments challenged in the point of order were not properly before the Senate. The report was struck from the Orders of the Day and returned with the bill to the Standing Senate Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs.
