The Subcommittee on the Review of Parliament’s involvement with Associations and Recognized Interparliamentary Groups of the Joint Interparliamentary Council met this day in camera at 9:01 a.m., in a hybrid format, the Hon. Dennis Dawson, Senator, and Lianne Rood, M.P., presiding.

Representing the Senate: Hon. Dennis Dawson, Hon. Percy Downe and Hon. Raymonde Saint-Germain.

Representing the House of Commons: Claude DeBellefeuille for Marilène Gill, Peter Julian for Lindsay Mathyssen, Lianne Rood and Ruby Sahota.

1. Adoption of minutes:

It was agreed, – That the minutes of the meeting of November 4, 2022, be adopted.


2. Summary of evidence:

The Subcommittee reviewed the summary of evidence and proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.


3. Subcommittee business:

It was agreed, – That the Subcommittee meet during the week of January 23, 2023, to consider the draft report.


At 10:51 a.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Co-Chairs.
