In submitting this interim report on bilingual services offered by Air Canada, the joint chairs and the members of the Standing Joint Committee on Official Languages want to emphasize the importance and urgency of ensuring that more Canadians have access to services from Air Canada and its subsidiaries in both official languages.
The Committee wishes to underline the outstanding collaboration and support given by the people who appeared before it to share their experience and expertise in this area.
The Committee would also like to thank the researchers from the Library of Parliament's Parliamentary Research Branch, Robert Asselin and Françoise Coulombe, as well as the joint clerks, Tonu Onu and Jean-François Pagé and their support staff, for their invaluable assistance and dedication throughout this study.
