Vancouver, BC – The Co-Chairs of the Canada-Japan Inter-Parliamentary Group are in Vancouver to participate in the Symposium on Canada‑Japan Trade and Investment Relations
Senator Paul J. Massicotte and Mr. Terry Sheehan, M.P., Co-Chairs of the Canada-Japan Inter-Parliamentary Group, will host today a high level discussion with the members of the Vancouver business community on the challenges and solutions to boost trade and investment between Japan and Canada.
Guest speaker is Ian McKay, outgoing CEO of the Vancouver Economic Commission and incoming CEO of Invest in Canada. Participating panelists are Don Campbell, former Canadian Ambassador in Japan, Hisashi Ikeda, President and CEO, Mitsubishi Canada, and Brad Tkachuck, Senior Manager, Global Commercial Sales Forecasting, ARC'TERYX. The panel will be moderated by Kirk LaPointe, Editor-in-Chief, Business in Vancouver Media Group.
This event is an activity of the Canada-Japan Inter-Parliamentary Group. It is organized in partnership with the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade.
