Review of the Exercise of Powers and the Performance of Duties and Functions Pursuant to the Declaration of Emergency that was in Effect from Monday, February 14, 2022, to Wednesday, February 23, 2022In accordance with section 62(6)(c) of the Emergencies Act, the Special Joint Committee on the Declaration of Emergency has the honour to present its first report.
Pursuant to the motions adopted by the Senate and House of Commons, the committee held its first meeting on Monday, March 14, 2022. The committee elected its co-chairs and vice-chairs and adopted its routine motions.
The committee intends to table additional reports at a later date.
