SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act in order to prohibit the possession, production, sale or importation of anything if it is known that it will be used in the production or traffic of certain substances included in Schedule I to that Act.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1 Subsection 7.1(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act is replaced by the following:
Possession, etc., for use in production of or trafficking in substance
7.1 (1) No person shall possess, produce, sell or import anything knowing that it will be used to produce or traffic in a substance referred to in item Insertion start 16 or Insertion end 18, subitem Insertion start 19(8) Insertion end or Insertion start item 25 Insertion end of Schedule I.
