SUMMARY
This enactment entitles employees under federal jurisdiction to all the general holidays observed in the province in which they work.

An Act respecting the harmonization of holidays
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Holidays Harmonization Act.
Provincial holidays
2. Every employee under federal jurisdiction is, at a minimum, entitled to and must be granted a holiday with pay on any day appointed by proclamation of the lieutenant governor to be observed as a general holiday in the province in which the employee’s place of employment is located.
