SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Broadcasting Act to require that the decisions and orders of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission be made within six months after a public hearing.

An Act to amend the Broadcasting Act (decisions and orders)
1991, c. 11
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1. Subsection 31(1) of the Broadcasting Act is replaced by the following:
Decisions and orders
31. (1) Except as provided in this Part, every decision and order of the Commission
(a) shall be made within six months after a public hearing; and
(b) is final and conclusive.
