An Act to amend the Canadian Bill of Rights
(right to education)
|

| Preamble
|
Whereas the Parliament of Canada
recognizes the dignity and worth of all
individuals and acknowledges that
individuals have the right to enjoy the
opportunities and benefits provided only
through access to education;
|
|
|
|
And Whereas continued access to
education, free of unreasonable financial or
other barriers, is necessary to ensure that right;
|
|

Now, Therefore, Her Majesty, by and with
the advice and consent of the Senate and
House of Commons of Canada, enacts as
follows:

1. Section 1 of the Canadian Bill of Rights
is amended by adding the following after
paragraph (b):
