1. The Canada Labour Code is amended
by adding the following after section 4:
|
|
| Members of
the Royal
Canadian
Mounted
Police who
are peace
officers
|
4.1 This Part applies in respect of members
of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who
are peace officers pursuant to the Royal
Canadian Mounted Police Act.
|
|
|
|
2. Section 6 of the Act is replaced by the
following:
|
|
| Employees of
Her Majesty
|
6. Except as provided by sections 4.1 and 5,
this Part does not apply in respect of
employment by Her Majesty in right of
Canada.
