An Act to amend the Constitution Act, 1867

| Short title
|
1. This Act may be cited as the Constitution
Act, 1997 (Representation).

2. Subsection 51(1), rule 2 of the
Constitution Act, 1867 is replaced by the
following:

2. The total number of members of the
House of Commons must not exceed three
hundred and one .
