An Act to amend the Young Offenders Act

      Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

1. Section 7.2 of the Young Offenders Act is replaced by the following:

Offence and punishment

7.2 Any person who wilfully fails to comply with section 7, or with an undertaking entered into pursuant to subsection 7.1(2), is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or an offence punishable on summary conviction.
