An Act respecting a National Organ Donor
Week in Canada
|
|
| Preamble
|
Whereas the importance of providing more
public education and awareness on organ
donation across Canada is recognized;
|
|
|
|
And whereas it is desirable to encourage all
Canadians to pledge to organ donation;
|
|
|
|
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, by and with the
advice and consent of the Senate and House of
Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
|

SHORT TITLE |
|
| Short title
|
1. This Act may be cited as the National
Organ Donor Week Act.
|
|
|
|
NATIONAL ORGAN DONOR WEEK |
|

Organ Donor
Week
|
2. Throughout Canada, in each and every
year, the last full week of April shall be known
under the name of ``National Organ Donor
Week''.
