	An Act to amend the Public Service Superannuation Act (annuity following job loss)

P-36; R.S., cc. 22, 46 (1st Supp.), cc. 13, 15, 19, 32 (2nd Supp.), cc. 9, 18, 20, 28 (3rd Supp.); cc. 1, 7, 28, 41, 47, 54 (4th Supp.); 1989, cc. 3, 6; 1990, cc. 3, 13; 1991, cc. 6, 10, 16, 38; 1992, cc. 1, 37, 46; 1993, cc. 1, 31, 34; 1994, cc. 13, 26	Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
	*1. Sub-paragraph 13(1)(c)(ii) of the Public Service Superannuation Act* is amended by adding the following after clause (C):**
	(C.1) if at the time he ceases to be so employed he has reached fifty years of age and has to his credit not less than ten years of pensionable service and if he has lost his job on or after January 1, 1995 as a result of a Public Service downsizing programme, an annual allowance, payable immediately on his so losing his job, equal to the amount of the deferred annuity referred to in clause (A),
	2. This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on January 1, 1995.
