(2) On the later of the coming into force
of section 19 of this Act and section 1 of the
other Act, section 19 of this Act is replaced

19. Every Canadian citizen within the
meaning of the Citizenship of Canada Act and
every person registered as an Indian under the
Indian Act has the right to enter and remain in
Canada in accordance with this Act, and a
designated officer shall allow them to enter

or registered Indian.

of paragraph 40(a) of this Act and section 1
of the other Act, paragraph 40(a) of this Act

(4) If the heading before section 219 and

force when section 72 of the other Act comes
into force, then the heading before section

of section 214 of this Act and section 1 of the
other Act, the portion of section 14 of the
Canadian Security Intelligence Service Act
after paragraph (b) is replaced by the

that Minister under the Citizenship of Canada
Act or the Immigration and Refugee
Protection Act.
