SUMMARY |

This enactment amends the Canada Labour Code to make Part I of
the Code apply to employees of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police
who are peace officers.

|
Part I of the Canada Labour Code is primarily concerned with the
certification of trade unions, collective bargaining and conciliation
mechanisms, the content and interpretation of collective agreements,
strikes and lockouts and unfair practices.
