SUMMARY |

|
This enactment amends the Bank Act and provides that a committee
of the House of Commons must submit an annual report to the House
of Commons containing recommendations regarding the bank charges
that the committee considers acceptable.
|
|
|
|
It also provides that the Governor in Council must make regulations
to prohibit the imposition of bank charges other than those considered
acceptable by that committee.
