SUMMARY |

This enactment amends the Referendum Act to allow for referenda
on matters specified in legislation. It also requires a referendum to be
held at the next general election on the restoration of the death penalty.
If this is approved, the amendment to the Criminal Code specified in the
referendum question comes into force.
