SUMMARY |

This enactment amends the Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act
to prohibit the retail sale or offering for sale of a prepackaged food
product that contains any ingredient derived from an animal to which
a prescribed recombinant hormone has been administered unless a label
is attached stating that the prepackaged product contains an ingredient
derived from an animal to which a prescribed recombinant hormone has
been administered and identifying the recombinant hormone.
