1. Paragraph (e) of the definition ``em
ployee'' in subsection 2(1) of the Public
Service Staff Relations Act is repealed.

2. Part I of Schedule I to the Act is
amended by striking out the following:

|
|
|
|
3. Part I of Schedule I to the Act is
amended by adding the following in alpha
betical order:

|
Civilian employees appointed or employed in
accordance with section 10 of the Royal Ca

4. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police
Act is amended by adding the following
after section 47.5:
|
|
| Non- application of certain Acts
|
47.6 (1) For greater certainty, the Canada
Labour Code does not apply to members, and
members are not part of the Public Service
within the meaning of the Public Service Staff
Relations Act, nor part of the public service
within the meaning of section 11 of the
Financial Administration Act.
|
|
| Non- application of para. 7(1)(e) of Financial Administra- tion Act
|
(2) Members are not part of the public
service of Canada for the purposes of para
graph 7(1)(e) of the Financial Administration
Act.
