This enactment amends An Act respecting the Buffalo and Fort Erie
Public Bridge Company.
|
|
|
|
The principal amendments are as follows:
|
|
|
|
- the limit on the borrowing power of the bridge authority is
increased from fifteen million dollars to one hundred million
dollars;
|
|
|
|
- authority is granted to the Governor in Council, on the
recommendation of the Minister of Transport and with the
concurrence of the Minister of Finance, to increase the
borrowing limit; and
|
|
|
|
- the administrative responsibility for the Act is transferred
from the Minister of Finance to the Minister of Transport.
